Our NED practice is used by some of the world’s most loved and progressive brands
Our Chair/Non-Executive practice helps our clients recruit fresh talent to their boards. Our expertise lies in having a comprehensive understanding of how boards operate; their role in an ever-changing landscape, their composition in an increasingly regulatory environment, and what a high calibre and high performing board looks like.

Non Executive Directors
Our NED practice is used by some of the world’s most loved and progressive brands.

Our Experience
We know how vital a strong boardroom is; a diverse board provides a wide-ranging framework of knowledge and differing skills to add value and give a competitive advantage, increased governance, and a different perspective in highly volatile markets. Our powerful market knowledge is acquired and maintained through relentless networking. We shape markets by sharing best practice and industry intelligence across our specialist sectors and supporting our clients commercial growth aspirations.
We pride ourselves in working in close partnership with our clients and have developed an excellent reputation in the Chair and Non-Executive arena, across numerous clients, candidates, regulators and other key stakeholders.
We utilise these networks to unearth real talent that isn’t always visible online or active in the market. We source Chair and NED candidates who can offer fresh perspectives and challenge conventional thinking, working alongside your nominations committee to ensure both new and experienced candidates are considered throughout the search process. We support businesses to strengthen their existing boards, where they may be looking for their first Chair or to build a full board in preparation for a new funding process or listing.
Over the last 5 years the Chair/NED practice has achieved a diversity success rate of between 63% and 75%.

Testimonials
Effortlessly combining a warm, personable style with a professional approach Pascale sourced high calibre candidates well suited to the roles. Pleasingly, not only were the candidates individually capable, but they were also thoughtfully balanced to provide complementary skills. This made the task of establishing a new Board a much smoother process.
John Lowe – Chair, Primis, LSL’s Financial Services Arm
Pascale is a true professional in every respect. After many years working with the recruitment sector I would put her right up there as one of the very best, knowledgeable, supportive and hard working. Pascale knows what it takes to deliver high quality candidates and to understand the client’s needs.
Bryce Glover – Ex Deputy CEO – Recognise Bank, Currently NED – Unity Trust Bank, Newcastle BS and PRIMIS
As chair of the board at Stafford Building Society, I’ve worked with HW Global on a number of assignments. They are always responsive, understanding the market very well – and crucially have always delivered exactly the candidates we need. We’ve made some great appointments as a result.
Joanne Hindle (Chair) – Stafford Building Society
HW Global successfully delivered on a new independent non-executive director appointment to the IM Asset Management board earlier this year through Pascale. This assignment was delivered on time and with her usual professional charm and efficiency. Candidates were well-briefed and we are delighted with the result.
