Interim Head of Finance

HW Finance are working with a Leeds based supply chain and logistics business who are looking for an Interim Head of Finance to join on a 6-month basis.

This is a very interesting and fast paced newly created role which will be responsible for the creation of various new entities on the back of a new contract win.

The ideal person will have experience of but not exhaustive of the below:

• Experienced Finance Business Partner or FC with a heavy systems and process bias.
• Experience working with large scale ERP finance systems.
• Experience setting up new companies and/or chart of accounts.
• Establishing efficient and new processes.
• Understanding detailed accounting processes and how operating processes impact billing; reconciliation processes and finance operations.
• Experience integrating accounting processes to other systems – likely to be billing; new banking provider etc.
• Experience in large scale European entities

This is a crucial and integral role working with the SLT, must have experience implementing new processes and ways of working in a matrix environment.

The successful candidate must be a qualified accountant with extensive process improvement and contracting experience.
