Interim Finance Manager

HW Finance is partnering with a Leeds based SME, who are the UK leaders in their field, as they look to add an Interim Finance Manager to their team.

The role

• Leading a small team of 3 individuals, including part qualified and transactional finance.
• You will have regular exposure to the leadership team (FD and FC) to report on complex financial data/analysis in an easily understandable format.
• Identify process and system improvements across the finance team and liaise with other departments daily.
• Ensure the financial control framework is operating effectively within your department.
• Ensure accurate preparation, review and submission of all information required from your direct reports for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Deliver compliance with internal and external accounting policies.

What skills are we looking for?

• A qualified accountant from either a recognised accountancy practice or industry, ideally a multi entity business or Group function.
• Excellent knowledge of current Accounting Standards (UK GAAP & IFRS) is an advantage.
• Experience in operating financial controls within a complex business environment.
• A confident communicator who can business partner, ideally with a bias towards system improvements and integration.
