HW Finance are delighted to have been Retained by a Growing Private Equity Backed Business to help appoint their new Head of Finance.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation who have recently received Private Equity Investment to embark on an exciting growth agenda.

The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing and driving the financial performance of the UK Business. Reporting directly into the Finance Director This will be a key leadership role, which combines the management of both the Financial Control & Business partnering functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for analysing the companies financial performance, explaining and presenting complex financial information clearly to the UK SLT.
• Management of both the financial accounts, transactional finance and management accounting (business partnering) process.
• Preparation of financial statements and accounts.
• Management of the forecast and budget process, which is clearly understood by business partners.
• Support management or future capital spend and tracking of expected performance on large projects, as well as on-going business performance.
• Support business partners in understanding performance, both historical and future.
• Provision of reporting and insight to meet Group finance reporting and information requirements.

Skills, Knowledge & experience

• Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
• Extensive experience in covering both Financial Control & Business Partnering, ideally within a fast-paced organisation.
• Proven experience in leadership roles, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving organisational change.
• Recognised leader across finance functions with a track record for development.
