The Challenge

To maintain its competitive edge and streamline financial operations, our client initiated a crucial ERP transformation project aimed at transitioning from a legacy system to the Oracle Fusion ERP system.

The business partnered with HW People to identify and appoint a key hire in a newly created role Head of Systems Transformation to support their transition to an Oracle Fusion ERP system, ensuring increased levels of automation and process improvement across AP, AR and master data.

This role required someone with high level ERP system knowledge, particularly Oracle Fusion, leadership abilities and experience of large-scale organisations to manage transformation effectively.

Our Approach

A targeted recruitment strategy was applied that focused on efficiency, engagement and diversity:

  • Timeline: Shortlist within 4 weeks
  • Diversity Focus: Shortlist ratio – 66% female, promoting inclusivity
  • Candidate Pool: 4 strong candidates at final interview stage
  • Competitive Salary Range: Between £80,000 and £110,000

Results

  • Successful placement within 6 weeks of the initial brief.
  • Highly skilled and qualified hire.
