A new opportunity is available for a Tax Manager to support the Head of Tax in delivering a wide range of tax compliance services across multiple entities in the UK and a small number of overseas subsidiaries. The role includes acting as a tax business partner on various ad hoc matters and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare UK Corporation Tax returns including analysis of disallowable expenses, capital allowance claims, and CT600 forms using tax software
• Assist in maintaining transfer pricing and BEPS documentation
• Prepare tax forecasts and manage cash tax payments
• Prepare UK VAT group returns and oversee overseas VAT return processes
• Collaborate with Payroll and Reward teams on end-of-year tax reporting (P11D, PSA, ERS)
• Prepare current and deferred tax calculations and related disclosures for consolidated financial statements
• Support tax governance by updating strategies, policies, risk registers, and documentation
• Assist in managing relationships with HMRC, auditors, and external advisors

Candidate Profile:

• Solid understanding of UK Corporation Tax and VAT
• Ideally Qualified CTA, ACA, ACCA but study support is available
• Knowledge of UK PAYE (beneficial but not essential)
• Experience in preparing Corporation Tax and VAT returns
• Experience with tax accounting and group disclosures
• Strong data management and processing abilities
