HW Finance are proud to be partnering with a Large Corporate based in West Yorkshire to help appoint a new Group Financial Controller. We are looking for best in class Financial Controllers to join the leadership team and help shape the future of a growing & ambitious business.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a high-profile role with exposure to the Executive Management Team and Audit & Risk Committee. You’ll lead the central finance function across the group, driving transformation, improving financial insight, and setting best-in-class financial control standards.

This is far more than a traditional financial controller position – it’s an opportunity to lead meaningful change, modernise finance operations, and build a scalable, industry-leading finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a central finance team of c.45 people
• Own group reporting, forecasting, budgeting and statutory reporting
• Drive finance transformation and automation initiatives
• Oversee tax, cash management and shared services functions
• Lead year-end audit and external auditor relationships
• Improve reporting quality, efficiency and real-time insight
• Support acquisitions, integrations and business growth initiatives
• Partner with divisional finance and operational teams across the group

We’re Looking For:

• ACA qualified (trained within a professional services firm)
• Strong experience in group consolidation, statutory reporting and cashflow management
• Proven leadership and change management capability
• Experience driving process and systems improvements
• Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
