HW Finance are pleased to be partnering with a large and successful Yorkshire based business to support them with the hire of a new Finance Manager to join their team.

About the role:

This is a varied role, reporting to the Group Financial Controller, responsible for the production of consolidated accounts, leading on the external audit process, and managing a small team. There are excellent long term progression prospects on offer, with a clear plan in place over the next 18-24 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production of annual statutory accounts
• Lead on external audit process
• Consolidation of group accounts
• Completion of corporation tax returns
• Management of small accounts team and payroll department, supporting them on a daily basis
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
• Monitor financial performance and produce relevant KPIs
• Provide relevant commentary and analysis with financial reporting, to support senior leadership team
• Ad hoc support to Group FC and wider finance team
• Drive continuous process improvement across the team

About You:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong Audit or Financial reporting background
• Strong Excel skills
• People management/mentoring experience
• Professional and adaptable
