HW Finance are delighted to be working with fast-growing, values-led organisation, who are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Director to join its senior leadership team.

This is a key strategic appointment, offering the opportunity to help drive ambitious growth plans – including scaling turnover significantly and doubling EBITDA by 2029.

The Role

As Divisional Finance Director, you will take full ownership of finance across the division, leading a team of 8 across multiple locations and ensuring robust financial governance, reporting, and performance management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with the leadership team to shape divisional strategy and growth
• Leading monthly reporting, management accounts, and group reporting packs
• Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Managing cashflow, working capital improvement, and financial controls
• Leading year-end audit processes and statutory compliance
• Ensuring timely HMRC reporting (VAT/PAYE) and regulatory filings
• Supporting payroll oversight alongside the People function
• Driving finance process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Providing strong leadership, development, and succession planning for the finance team

About You

We’re looking for a commercially focused finance leader who brings:

• Proven experience operating at Finance Director / senior executive level
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen
• Track record in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
• Experience in multi-division or group environments (desirable)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• A hands-on leadership style with strong governance mindset
• Qualified accountant status (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Experience in a B2B/B2C service-led or travel-aligned business would be beneficial, though not essential.
