A high growth, forward-thinking business is seeking a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join their Finance team in York. This is a high-impact role partnering closely with Sales and Marketing to drive strategic financial decisions and deliver performance insights.

The Opportunity

This is an ideal role for a qualified Accountant looking to make a tangible impact in a dynamic, customer-focused business. You’ll play a critical role in shaping financial planning, building models, and influencing strategic decisions that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models translating commercial strategies into accurate forecasts.
• Deliver timely, insightful performance reports across various sales channels.
• Act as a strategic business partner to the Sales and Marketing departments supporting investment decisions and evaluating ROI.
• Design and manage dashboards (e.g. Power BI) to facilitate real-time performance tracking and decision-making.
• Prepare and present variance analysis and commentary to senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to group-wide budgeting, reforecasting, and year-end processes.

What You’ll Bring

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
• A strong background in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering roles.
• Hands-on experience partnering at a high level with Marketing, sales / commercial teams.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
• A confident communicator who can communicate with finance to non-financial stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
