HW Finance are proud to be partnering with a well known Retail Group based near the M62 Corridor to help appoint a new Divisional FD for a key Business Unit.

This is a pivotal leadership role within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, offering real influence over commercial performance and strategic direction.

The Role

You’ll take full ownership of a major division, operating as a true finance business partner to senior stakeholders. The role blends strategic thinking, commercial insight, and hands-on operational finance, making it ideal for a Finance Director who enjoys being close to the action.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading divisional financial strategy, planning and forecasting
• Driving commercial decision-making across retail and ecommerce channels
• Providing robust financial insight to support growth, margin and cash performance
• Overseeing operational finance, controls and reporting
• Building and developing a high-performing finance team
• Acting as a trusted advisor to divisional leadership and the wider executive team

About You

• Proven experience as a Divisional FD or Senior Finance Leader within retail and/or ecommerce
• Strong strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic, operational approach
• Commercially sharp, with the confidence to challenge and influence at senior level
• Comfortable operating in a high-energy, fast-moving environment
• ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) preferred
